Moore Stephens Sponsors The Western Photographic Society For Second Year

Lights, Camera, Action! Moore Stephens Isle of Man, leading providers of multi-sector accountancy, consulting and wealth management services has announced its sponsorship of the Western (IOM) Photographic Society’s Annual Open and Photographer of the Year Competition for the second year. Taking place on Thursday 28th April at 8:00pm at the Glen Helen Inn, Moore Stephens will present the Moore Stephens Image of the Year trophy to the entry judged to be best overall in the competition. “We’re only too happy to provide sponsorship for the competition” said Anton Cashen director of Moore Stephens Trust Company Limited who will present the trophy, “We’re sure it will be even more competitive than last year with judging by eminent and much respected UK photographic judge Christine Widdall, President of The Lancashire & Cheshire Photographic Union.” In addition to her judging on the Thursday evening, Christine will give a public lecture entitled “Playing The Rules” on Friday 29th April at 07:30pm, also at the Glen Helen Inn. Christine will also judge entries from Moore Stephens Isle of Man as part of an informal contest.” The Western (IOM) Photographic Society, founded in 1979 and based in Peel has over 40 members with wide ranging abilities using both film and digital cameras. It is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union. More information can be found at www.westernphotographic.org.
