Police are asking motorists to take extra care in Peel following new road layouts which came in to force this morning (Monday). · Derby Drive is now one-way down from the junction with Mona Street to Athol Place. · Christian Street is now one-way up from Athol Place to its Junction with Church Street. Priority is now given to vehicles coming from Church Street so vehicle coming up Christian Street must give way. Inspector Will Campbell from WNPT said: “The new layout is well signed and any competent driver should be able to understand and comply. Workers from The Department of Infrastructure are presently in the town completing the signage etc and I would ask motorists to take extra care whilst the work is completed” ENDS
