Just a reminder that there will be an Easter Mini Tennis Camp at the Ballaughton Meadows courts starting Tuesday 19th April, also Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st April. Full details can be obtained from Club Coach, Ian Watson on his mobile 496293 or by e-mailing him – ianwatson@manx.net. Alternatively call at the club and book a place. Each session is ?3 and the times are: Mini Reds 9.30am – 10.30am, Mini Orange 10.30am – 11.30am and Mini Green 11.30am- 12.30am. The next event at the club is President’s Day on Sunday May 8th. This is an adult only event and the competition is for the En-Tout-Cas Shield. It is Round Robin Mixed Doubles, players are asked to enter with a partner BUT there will be a draw for partners. Players will keep their own scores in the Round Robin stages which will be played between 11am and 1pm. There will be a cold buffet lunch from 1pm – 2pm then the knock-out stages will start at 2pm. The winners & runners-up from each group will contest the quarter finals and there will be place play-offs. Prize presentation will be at approximately 4.15pm, with prizes of bubbly, vouchers, wine and chocolates. Entries close 3rd May, entry fee is ?6 per player which includes lunch.
