Conister Bank Shows Further Commitment to Supporting Local Business Lending

Conister Bank, the Isle of Man’s only independent bank, has today announced further commitment towards continuing its support of local business and personal lending with the appointment of two further members to the Credit Control team within the Bank. Kevin Farrington has been appointed to the position of Credit Manager, responsible for assessing all incoming finance applications. Kevin has over twelve years experience within the local finance sector. Leading an active social life, Kevin is an adult volunteer with the IOM Army Cadet force, having spent fourteen years within the Territorial Army in the UK. As well as being a County Shooter Officer which takes up a vast amount of his spare time, he still finds the odd moments to enjoy the Manx roads on his motorbike. Also joining the Credit Department is Laura Thomson, who has been appointed to the position of Underwriting and Collections Assistant, tasked with assisting the collections and underwriting departments with their day to day function. Manx born Laura studied at QE2 High School and the Isle of Man College before embarking upon her career with within Credit. The majority of Laura’s free time is spent training for the Parish walk!!! -ends-
