Isle of Man Post Office wishes to advise customers of its changes to operation and times of opening during the last week of April when there a number of bank holidays.
Easter
On Good Friday (April 22), mail will be received from the UK early morning as normal with mail deliveries taking place. However all post offices across the Island will be closed and there will be no despatch of mail to the UK that evening. Pensions and allowances due for payment on Friday 22nd April can be collected from Friday 15th April. On April 23 there will be no mail deliveries or collections although the post office retail network will be open as normal. Pensions and allowances due for payment on Monday 25th April can be collected from Monday 18th April. On Easter Monday (April 25), no deliveries or collections will be made and all post offices will be closed. Mail deliveries and post office opening hours will return to normal on Tuesday 26th April.
Royal Wedding
On Friday 29th April there is a bank holiday to mark the Royal Wedding of HRH Prince William to Miss Catherine Middleton. There will be no mail deliveries or collections and all post offices will be closed for the day. Normal Saturday mail and counter services will resume the following day - Saturday 30th April.
Pensions and allowances due for payment on Friday 29th April can be collected from Tuesday 26th April.
May Day
Monday May 2 is the May Day bank holiday. There will be no mail deliveries or collections and all post offices will be closed for the day. Normal mail and counter services will resume the following day - Tuesday 3rd May.
Pensions and allowances due for payment on Monday 2nd May can be collected from Tuesday 26th April.
Customers who are due on holiday over the Easter holidays can take advantage of Isle of Man Post Office’s 0% commission on its foreign exchange service – available at any post office Island-wide.
