Heron and Brearley Introduces New Price-Competitive Pint

by isleofman.com 13th April 2011
Heron and Brearley is to introduce a new price-competitive lager, Holsten Vier, in eight of its outlets. Retail director for managed estates Steven Taylor said: ‘Rising duty rates mean the average price of a pint across the UK is now more than ?3 so we’re pleased to be able to offer customers a top-quality lager with a respected well-known name and a great taste that we’ll be retailing in some of our outlets for just ?2.70 a pint. ‘Bringing in Holsten Vier is all part of our bid to protect consumers as far as possible from rising prices. We’ve been listening to our customers and they’ve been telling us they’re looking for an affordable product but don’t want to compromise on taste, quality or choice, so we’re confident Holsten Vier will tick all those boxes.’ Ends
