SMP Partners Raises ?7500 for Two Local Charities

by isleofman.com 13th April 2011
SMP Partners, one of the Island’s largest corporate and trust service providers, celebrated their Annual Party at the beginning of the year with a Grease themed style party. Staff and partners joined together at the Mount Murray Hotel & Country Club for a fun evening packed full of 50’s style entertainment including dancers, singers and 50’s style rock band. The evening was also a major fund raising event with this year’s proceeds being donated to 2 local charities; Rebecca House and Project 21. Raffle and auction prizes were generously donated by companies both on and off the Island and the directors and staff at SMP Partners managed to raise an incredible ?7500 on the evening. Mark Denton, Managing Director said, “I am extremely proud of our employees, it shows that not only do we have a strong workforce but that our staff are committed to playing their part in the wider community. In the last 4 years we have donated over ?65,000 to local charities and it gives me great satisfaction to raise a further ?7500 for our chosen charities which will also benefit from our other fund raising events during the course of this year. This truly is a remarkable achievement.” -Ends-
