The Island's senior golfers will be battling it out for some top prizes this summer following the launch of a new tournament.
The KHG Funds Senior Open is aimed specifically at players, both male and female aged over 50.
The inaugural series, sponsored by KHG Funds, will be staged over three rounds on May 27, June 30 and August 5, Stableford format with individual prizes on the day and an overall.
Prizes will be awarded at the end of each competition, and the overall winner total of the event, the total prize fund is in excess of ?3,000.
KHG Funds is a innovative new fund range recently launched in the Isle of Man. We recognise that senior sports men and woman are vital to the smooth running and ongoing support of many of our Islands sporting clubs and hopefully through the KHG Open they will enjoy a return to the limelight”. The series is designed to provide both a competitive platform but also an opportunity for senior golfers from around the Island to participate in an enjoyable and social day's golf.

The action gets under way on Friday, May 27, at Castletown Golf Club, with round two at Ramsey on Thursday, June 30, and the final leg on Friday, August 5, at Peel followed by the prize presentation and buffet.
Tee times have been reserved between 9am-3pm and players will go out in groups of three for the 54-hole tournament.
Numbers are restricted and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Entries received after all the places have been allocated will be held on file as a reserve list and any fees returned.
A full handicap will apply and the entry fee is ?40, which will include three days' golf greenage, refreshments pre and during every round with a buffet after the final round at Peel.
