Douglas Police are investigating a hit and run road traffic collision that occurred in the area of Hillary Park, Douglas, at approximately 11:55pm Monday 18th April 2011. Police Officers are appealing for witnesses to the collision and have information to suggest that a dark coloured car, possibly a dark green Honda Accord was responsible for colliding with a number of parked vehicles causing significant damage before being driven away. It is thought that due to the amount of damage caused to the parked vehicles that the offending car will also display significant damage to its’ nearside bodywork. Any person who may have seen a vehicle matching this description or witnessed the collision happening is asked to contact PC David Hall at Lord Street Police Station.
