FORWARD LADIES CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS AWARDS
North Britain’s Largest Networking Group For Business Women Invites Isle Of Man’s Female Business Leaders & Entrepreneurs To Participate In New Awards Programme
The inaugural Isle of Man and North West Women in Business Awards is being launch by Forward Ladies, and the Island’s female business leaders and entrepreneurs are invited to enter.
“Now is the chance for the Island’s women to be recognised for their achievements in business,” said Kate Lord, spokesperson for Forward Ladies on the Isle of Man. “We are a diverse community ranging from women running micro companies to successful entrepreneurs running mid-sized enterprises to those holding C-level positions in International organisations. Everyone is encouraged to enter.”
Professional women from all walks of life are invited to enter the awards by either nominating themselves, or by getting a friend or colleague to nominate them. There are 10 separate award categories as well as an overall Business Woman of the Year Award:

? Manufacturing Business Woman of the Year
? International Business Woman of the Year
? Young Business Woman of the Year
? Best Technology Utilisation
? Start-up Business Woman of the Year
? Corporate Leader of the Year
? Not for Profit Organisation of the Year
? Home-Based Business Woman of the Year
? Outstanding Business Woman of the Year - will be chosen from the winners of each category
The deadline to enter is 31 May 2011. Entry is via the Forward Ladies website (www.forwardladies.com). Award winners will announced at a prestigious awards lunch and ceremony on 23 September at the Midland Hotel, Manchester.
Forward Ladies is a women’s business support community involving more than 12,000 professional women across the north of England and the Isle of Man.
