Police are appealing for witnesses regarding a matter of theft from a motor car. A blue Fiat Punto was parked overnight on Wednesday 20th to Thursday 21st April 2011 on Bay View Road, Port Erin and during the night, unknown person(s) have entered the vehicle and stolen the black coloured plastic front to the CD/radio as well as rifling through other property located in the car. On the same night in a nearby location another vehicle was also entered however nothing was stolen. PC 259 Walsh from the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to remind motorists ‘to be extra vigilant in securing their vehicles and ensure that all valuables are removed or out of sight.’ If anybody has information please contact the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team at Castletown or Port Erin Police Station.
