Department of Social Care Office Moves

Since its formation on 1st April 2010, the Department of Social Care’s staff have been split over several buildings including, Markwell House, Murray House, The Lodge and Hillary House. Since then the Department has been working towards accommodating most of the staff into Government owned buildings saving nearly ?250,000 per year in rent. The following moves will take place as below and members of the public can ring the contact numbers listed for any queries during the moves. Notices will also be placed on our website. Corporate Services, Finance and Compliance and the Chief Executive’s office will be moving to Markwell House between 3rd and 5th May 2011. During this time calls can be directed to 686208. Housing Division will be moving to Markwell House between 5th and 10th May 2011. During this time calls can be directed for emergency repairs only please telephone 494012 where your call will be answered. For routine repairs telephone 623987 and leave a message on the answer phone, your message will be picked up the following morning. Notices will be placed in reception at Murray House in relation to all housing queries. Ends
