Barclays Wealth Staff Hop To It For Hospice

Staff at Barclays Wealth in the Isle of Man were given a treat when the Easter Bunny made a special visit to the Eagle Court and Victoria Street offices. Staff were given the chance to send an egg and message to one of their colleagues for a contribution to the Barclays Wealth Charity of the Year, Hospice Isle of Man. The event was organised by Eileen Clarke and Rebecca Stride and Managing Director Simon Scott donned the bunny suit and delivered the eggs to help boost funds. Chairman of the Charity Committee Stuart Nelson said: ‘The visiting bunny put everyone in the holiday spirit as well as raising much needed funds for our Charity of the Year. The event raised over ?350 which will be matched ? for ? which makes a grant total of ?700. This forms part of a calendar of events for Hospice Isle of Man throughout the year including a 12 hour marathon train ride on the Groudle Glen Railway and over 30 staff members entering the Parish Walk to raise money for this important local charity.’ ENDS
