Request For Information

by isleofman.com 5th May 2011
The Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team are currently investigating a recent spate of damage which has occurred over the Bank Holiday weekend in the Port St Mary area. Overnight on Friday 29th April 2011 into Saturday 30th April 2011 a number of cars were scratched whilst they were parked in the Lhargan area and the High Street in Port St Mary. Also, over the weekend it has also been reported that persons unknown have forced some doors to out-buildings at the Port St Mary Gas Plant and also at the Port St Mary Commissioners building. Nothing was taken from these buildings which were empty. In a further incident it would appear that persons have been climbing on a corrugated roof in the Hudson’s Yard area and would appear to have fallen through the roof and then forced a door in order to escape. The Southern Neighbourhood policing team have asked that if any person has any information which may assist in this investigation or has seen any person acting suspiciously in the area, they are asked to contact Port Erin Police Station on 832222 or phone the Crime Stoppers Line on 0800555111.
