Second Manx Archer to Secure a Sponsorship Deal.

by isleofman.com 9th May 2011
Sarah Rigby, the Isle of Man’s first and only Grand Master Bowman is delighted to announce the she is to receive backing from Custom Built Archery, the UK’s leading Pro Archery Supplier. Having impressed "CBA" owner and top British Coach Tony Drabble over the last 2 seasons, he has stepped forward to supply her with the latest Bowtech Archery Bows and Nitro Strings Archery Products. Sarah said: To be recognized by someone of Tony’s stature in the archery world is truly fantastic and shows the true level that Archery in the Isle of Man has reached, and instills in me the belief that so much more can be achieved. The deal was signed some weeks ago, and I am very proud to have been asked to shoot for Custom Built. Having now taken delivery of my new bow I have to get down to some serious training to ensure I am ready for the upcoming season, and indeed the Island Games. There are two gold medals and no fewer than five Island Games records to defend and I would like to thank everyone who has supported me over the last three years. Team “CBA” will be well represented on the Isle of Wight. Sarah will be shooting with Aalin George who is already backed by the firm. For such a respected UK firm to sponsor one, let alone two sportswomen who are island based shows how well the girls are progressing. With Aalin already representing Great Britain on the Junior Squad, Sarah hopes that she too will be able to represent Great Britain on the world stage. Ends
