Two figures from the Island’s finance and legal sectors have joined the board of the Association of Corporate Service Providers.
Nick Boon, finance and client relationship manager with Gough Advocates, will be responsible for organising the marketing and promoting of the Island’s CSP sector, while Chris Blake, finance and banking manager at Inter-Continental Management Limited, will be focusing on the ACSP’s relationship with the banking sector.
Mr Boon has previously worked for Coutts and, more recently, the Isle of Man Government where he had responsibility for the strategy to attract ultra-high net worth individuals to the Island. At Gough Advocates he is responsible for business development and providing strategic management support. He is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and former president of the Isle of Man Chartered Insurance and Financial Services Institute.
Mr Blake has more than 16 years’ experience in the offshore financial services sector, locally and in the Channel Islands, and has held senior management positions with two leading banking institutions. His qualifications include financial planning and corporate banking and at Inter-Continental Management he manages the group’s banking, asset finance, investment and advisory relationships. He also serves as director of sales for the group’s aviation industry verification service, ICM ETS Limited.
ACSP chairman Philip Dearden said: ‘With their extensive backgrounds in the financial professions locally and internationally, Nick Boon and Chris Blake will bring new dimensions to the board, strengthening the ACSP’s relationships at home and promoting the Island’s CSP sector to a wider audience.’
