Mountain Safe – Institute of Advance Motorists

by isleofman.com 10th May 2011
The latest initiative in support of the MOUNTAIN SAFE campaign continues this Sunday, 15th May. Police officers from the Roads Policing Unit, and observers from the Isle of Man Institute of Advanced Motorists will be meeting up with bikers from 10 a.m. at the Grandstand. Sergeant Pete Dyer from the Roads Policing Unit said ‘This is a way of meeting up with and talking to bikers. The Institute of Advanced Motorists observers will be on hand to offer free check-rides.’ These short critiques are designed to give people some hints and tips and will give an insight as to what the Institute has to offer. We encourage as many people as can to turn up and find out a bit more.’ ENDS
