New Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) Appointed

Moore Stephens Isle of Man, leading providers of accountancy, consultancy and multi-sector wealth management services is pleased to announce the appointment of Dani Kelly as compliance officer and money laundering reporting officer (MLRO). Dani will be responsible for enhancing existing compliance policies, procedures and systems, training staff on all aspects of good practice and ensuring all regulatory requirements continue to be met. “Moore Stephens Isle of Man has proven itself as a growing and adaptive firm despite the current climate and I’m proud to be a part of it,” said Dani, “I’m really excited about the new role and building on the existing gold standard of compliance.” Having previously been compliance officer at a local accountancy firm, Dani has over 10 years experience in compliance related roles having worked across a range of financial services institutions including: banking, insurance, accounting, audit, fund, trust service providers and corporate service providers. Dani was educated on the Island and graduated from Edge Hill University with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Studies and Geography in 2001. She holds the International Diploma in Compliance and the International Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention from the International Compliance Association and has recently been accepted to study for a Management with Compliance degree through Manchester Business School. She is well known in the Island’s sporting community, taking part in club netball and hockey. She is an active member of Vikings Hockey Club and is the coordinator for all indoor hockey fixtures on the Island. “We’re really pleased to welcome someone of Dani’s calibre to the team”, said Clive Dixon, senior partner for Moore Stephens Isle of Man, “She brings significant experience and expertise and will be a tremendous asset.
