Help Age Concern ‘take stock’: Number 73 proves sell-out success

by isleofman.com 13th May 2011
‘Number 73’, Age Concern Isle of Man’s second-hand furniture shop in Circular Road, Douglas, has proved such a success since it opened in mid-April the charity now needs more stock. Chief executive George Quayle said: ‘We’ve been delighted with the response since we opened the doors at Number 73 last month. Clearly the shop is answering a need in Douglas with its combination of good quality furniture at affordable prices. The excellent pieces people so generously donated have been selling extremely well and we’re now running low on stock. With this in mind we’re repeating our “donate, don’t dump” message and asking anyone with unwanted furniture and other household items to contact us.’ House clearances and free collection can be arranged. Number 73 Circular Road, Douglas is open on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. To donate items, please call 613044. Ends
