Manx Telecom has appointed John Dunne as Corporate Sales Account Manager. Before taking up his new post he worked as a Global Account Manager focusing mainly on financial institutions for Cable & Wireless Bermuda and also in Dublin with BT Ireland. John is enjoying his role with Manx Telecom which involves looking after corporate division clients ranging from financial services companies to retail businesses. He said: “I’m very proud to have joined a company with such exciting ambitions for the future. Manx Telecom has a proven track record both on and off-Island as a customer focused organisation and also a technology leader within the industry.” John, who has moved to the Island with his partner Rebekah, says he has found the Isle of Man to be a beautiful place and that everyone he has met on the Island has been friendly and helpful. He is a keen rugby fan and supports Leinster, the team which will play Northampton in this year’s Heineken Cup Final. John played for Bective Rugby Football Club in his home city of Dublin and plays at number eight. Now he is looking to join an Isle of Man team. His other interests include music, golf, film and travelling. - ENDS -
