Tickets for the Bob The Builder show at the Gaiety Theatre, Douglas, are now on sale. The children’s summer show will be staged at 3.30pm on 30 and 31 August with an additional 1pm show on the Wednesday (31 August). The plot centres on the Fixham Theatre, which is set for a grand re-opening. Local talent Dickie Olivier needs Bob’s help to fix up the stage for his brand new musical. But when Spud decides he wants to be the star of the show, the job doesn’t go exactly to plan. Will the theatre be ready? Will the show go on? Bob is going to need help from his friends. With well-known songs and three new exclusive songs, join Bob and help him fix it in his big theatre build! Hon David Cretney MHK, Minister for Community, Culture and Leisure, said: ‘The Villa Gaiety management stage a variety of productions throughout the year and this is definitely a treat not to be missed for our younger customers. Can we fix it for Bob the Builder to come to the Isle of Man? Yes we can!’ Tickets cost from ?14 for adults (under 16s and senior citizens from ?12).
