100th Kerbside Check-In Customer

by isleofman.com 19th May 2011
Rendezvous Airport Services and Manx2.com welcomed its 100th kerbside check-in customer on Tuesday (17th May). Richard Wild, a frequent flyer with Manx2.com, was welcomed by Brett Turner from Rendezvous as he arrived to catch his flight to Leeds Bradford International Airport. The service, available exclusively to Manx2.com customers, was launched in March. It offers passengers an easy way to park their car and assistance with bags before heading straight to airport security. It also includes competitive parking rates and a discounted optional valet service. In recognition of the occasion, Mr Wild received free parking for the duration of his trip. He said: ‘I regularly travel with Manx2.com and have always been impressed by the level of service. The kerbside check-in takes it to the next level. I intend to use the service again when I take part in the Great North Run for the RNLI in September.’ Chief Executive Officer of Rendezvous Airport Services, Brett Turner, said: ‘We are delighted by how popular the kerbside check-in has been with customers and the numerous comments we’ve received from happy customers. Richard is well-known to the staff here and it’s a great pleasure to see him on this occasion. ENDS
