Police are appealing for witnesses to an alleged assault, that took place near to the junction of St Ninian’s Road and Ballaquayle Road, Douglas. The incident occurred at about 6:30pm on Thursday 12th May 2011. PC Damien Cullivan from Douglas Police Station who is investigating the incident said: ‘We would urge anyone who may have witnessed any part of the incident, to contact the police to help with the enquiries. The incident would have been noticeable to any passers by, as the people involved had pulled their car over at the side of Ballaquayle Road, positioning the car in an awkward position for any other motorists.’ Anyone with information regarding this incident can contact Constable Cullivan, at Lord Street Police Station or any other Police Officer.
