Mezeron's Silver River Completes Bi-Annual Dry-Docking

by isleofman.com 25th May 2011
Mezeron’s Manx flagged MV Silver River has completed her bi-annual dry-docking in Swinousje, Poland. During dry-docking the Silver River’s propulsion system was overhauled as well as other regular maintenance work, ensuring that the vessel is fit for her regular Irish Sea routes for the next two to three years. Silver River will now resume her service linking Ramsey with Glasson Dock, Lancashire, and Belfast. Commented Captain Norman Leece, managing director of Mezeron: “Whilst Silver River was in dry-dock Mezeron chartered the UK flagged MV Bouhou to ensure that our regular Irish Sea service for the Isle of Man was not disrupted. MV Bouhou is now returning to her owners in the Channel Islands and all at Mezeron would like to thank the master and all the crew for their professional and friendly work whilst under our charter and wish them bon voyage.” Ends
