Burglary x 2 - Surby Road, Ballafesson, Port Erin on Tuesday, 31st May, 2011 Police are investigating two Burglaries that occurred at unoccupied properties along the Surby Road, Ballafesson, Port Erin on the evening of Tuesday, 31st May, 2011. Entry was forced into both properties and damage caused therein. Items have also been removed from both properties. Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area between 5pm and 7pm on Tuesday, 31st May, 2011 or any person who has any information which they believe may assist with this investigation. In particular, Police would like to speak to two females who have been described as aged 12-16years. One was wearing a pink top and the other a dark jacket and had shoulder length Blonde hair. Both were seen in the area around these times and may be able to help Police with their enquiries or alternatively, if any person believes that they may know the identity of these two girls then we would urge them to contact the Police at Port Erin or the Crimestoppers line on 0800555111. ENDS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Constable Jenette Martin from Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is investigating an incident which occurred at approximately 03.10am on Saturday 28th May 2011 in Star Grill on Castle Street, Douglas. The incident consisted of an physical altercation which involved two females, one of the females sustained minor facial injuries during the incident. PC Martin said ‘Police are looking to speaking with anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident.’ If you have any information regarding this matter, then please contact Police immediately. ENDS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Constable 257 Ben Horan from Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is investigating an incident of criminal damage which occurred over the last 3 or so weeks in the Kirby Estate area. Over the past few weeks, windows of property on a building site in the area have been smashed by an unknown means. PC HORAN said “This is a mindless act, and the Police are anxious to hear from anybody who may have been involved in, or seen the incident. The Police would also like to point out the many hidden dangers of entering building sites, climbing on scaffolding and broken glass” If you have any information regarding this matter, then please contact Police immediately.
