Bank of Ireland Offshore Launches New High Interest Anniversary Account

Bank of Ireland Offshore is marking 30 years in the Isle of Man with the launch of a new High Interest Anniversary account. The Douglas-based office opened in the Island in July 1981, and to mark the milestone, the special sterling account offers excellent guaranteed fixed term rates for up to 12 months. Interest rates begin at 3.50% gross AER (Annual Equivalent Rate) for one year, and are set at 2.7689% gross AER for six months and 2.6255% gross AER for three months. The High Interest Anniversary account will be available to personal individuals and life companies for investments of between ?25,000 and ?1,000,000. Interest is calculated from the date the account opens to the end of the fixed term. In addition to the anniversary account, staff at Bank of Ireland Offshore have nominated six charities - Age Concern, The Children’s Centre, Crossroads Caring for Carers, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Hospice Isle of Man and the Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled - to benefit from a number of fundraising events being planned throughout the year. Commenting on the launch, Bank of Ireland Offshore Relationship Director, Niall Carey, said: ‘We believe this special High Interest Anniversary account will prove very popular with investors looking for a guaranteed and attractive rate.
