Police wish to remind the public that the main Douglas to Castletown Road, Santon will be closed to the public between 10am and 2pm on Tuesday 14th June 2011 while Police carry out further investigations into a fatal injury road traffic collision which occurred near to the Fairy Bridge on the evening of Monday 6th June 2011. The road will be closed between Ballavale Road and the Blackboards with HGV’s being diverted along the Ballasalla to St Marks Road. Access will be maintained to properties in the area. Police wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused to the public and state that they will open the road as soon as the investigation is complete. ENDS
