by isleofman.com 15th June 2011
Police are appealing to the public for information relating to recent damage in the St. Patrick Church on Patrick Street in Peel. The damage is believed to have occurred between 1:15pm and 7pm on Thursday 9th June and has resulted in candles being broken and offensive phrases being written within the church. Constable Stephen Giddins from the Western Neighbourhood Policing team states “It would be a shame to have to close the church during the day but this type of vandalism cannot be allowed to continue.” If anybody has information please contact PC 277 GIDDINS at Peel Police Station on 842208 ENDS
