Family Fun Day in Jurby

by isleofman.com 16th June 2011
For families in the Jurby area, Saturday 9th July is destined to be an afternoon of fun for all. Churches have got together to organise fun, food and entertainment on the school fields at Jurby School. Face painting, Sumo wrestling, bouncy castle and parachute games are among the activities on offer. Des Deehan and members of the Church on the Rock in Ramsey have got together with Anglican and Methodist churches, and SUMT team members, and planned a great afternoon for all ages. There’s no admission charge. “This is a chance for families to enjoy fun and adventure together right on their own doorstep” says Des. “We’re planning to fill the school field with a range of activities that will give everyone an enjoyable way of relaxing on a Saturday afternoon. We hope everyone in the Jurby area will come along and join in.” ENDS
