Approximately 3.45pm on Monday 13th June 2011 a fatal road traffic collision occurred on Bemahague Road, Douglas near to its junction with the Governors Hill estate. The incident involved two vehicles; a red and white coloured Suzuki motorcycle and a white coloured Dennis Eagle motor vehicle. As a result of the collision one of the motorcyclists received fatal injuries. The other motorcyclist was conveyed to Nobles Hospital and detained. The occupants of the Dennis Eagle received minor injuries. The road was closed for approximately 5 hours while Police conducted enquiries at the scene. Police are renewing their appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision to make contact to assist with the investigation. The deceased has been named as Kevin Michael MADIGAN, who was aged 40 years, and was from Liverpool ENDS
