At a recent event, Mr Humphreys, the Principal of King William’s College and Mrs Hedley, the Head Teacher of The Buchan School, together with their spouses, joined parents and grandparents of children at both schools to be taken on a prestigious tour of The Legislative Buildings by Hon J A Brown MHK Chief Minister. Guests visited The Chambers of The House of Keys, The Legislative Council and Tynwald before enjoying a Champagne and Canapes reception, kindly sponsored by MAC Financial, in The Barrool suite at the top of the Legislative Building. Chairperson of Friends at Buchan and co-organiser of the event, Mrs Ann Atkinson said; “The tour was extremely interesting and informative and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
