Joint Offer Yields Impressive Results

by isleofman.com 20th June 2011
The Sefton Group and Isle of Man Steam Packet Holidays are planning another joint promotion following the success of an offer in April and May. The local companies joined forces to offer a package of a return foot passenger sea crossing with two nights’ bed and breakfast accommodation. The deal, which proved very popular, was promoted through an advertising campaign in the Liverpool Echo and Liverpool Evening Post and details of the offer were also picked up by a number of north-west based newspapers and magazines. The offer will be repeated in July at a price of ?109 and Sefton Group Sales Manager Naomi Finch commented: ‘The results of working with Isle of Man Steam Packet Holidays to produce this fantastic deal are plain to see – we’re delighted so many people chose to take us up on the offer to spend a few days here. Hopefully, the offer will prove as popular in July and we might even tempt some of them back for a second visit!’ Brian Convery from Steam Packet Holidays said: ‘In repeating the offer, we’re hoping to encourage even more people to consider the Isle of Man as a short break destination. There’s plenty going on here in July, including Manx National Week and Tynwald Day, the Queenie Festival, Southern 100 Road Races, World Tin Bath Championships and the Transport Festival.’ ENDS
