The Reverend Clive Burgess

The Reverend Clive Burgess grew up in Essex, near Southend-on-Sea and prior top ordination was involved through local firms in theatrical costuming, eventually working in London' West End, ending as the head of department for Angels, a company that provides costumes for films and TV , media and theatre (working on Bond movies, the ‘Sharpe’ series and other large scale projects).
Following training at Trinity theological college in Bristol he was ordained in Chester Cathedral in 2000 and served as curate in Birkenhead, from 2003; was Vicar of Brewood and Bishop’s Wood, two rural/commuter villages in South Staffordshire (north of Wolverhampton), and he is presently Rector of ‘The Bentham’s’, 2 villages on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, as well as being Rural Mission Officer for Bradford Diocese.
Clive is married to Nicola and has a son Josh. His interests include sea-fishing, cooking, photography and DIY
The Reverend Jo Dudley
To be Priest-in-Charge of Laxey and Lonan
The Reverend Jo Dudley still lives presently in the home that she was born into in 1952 in the village of Copford, Essex. Having served for over 30 years in the Essex Police she is presently Self Supporting Associate Priest at Tolleshunt Knights, St Luke’s, Tiptree with All Saints, Great Braxted, after training for the Ministry studying on the East Anglian Ministerial Training Course.
Jo has a passion for music, becoming a chorister at the age of 7 and playing the organ for her first service at the age of 12 and taking up an appointment as organist at the age of 14. Jo has gained valuable experience over the years serving as a school governor, church warden and PCC member. Her other interests include gardening, cooking and the natural world.
