Commonwealth Youth Games 2011

Girlguiding Isle of Man to be a part of the Commonwealth Youth Games 2011. As one of the smaller nations in the Commonwealth the Isle of Man is very proud to have been invited to host the Commonwealth Youth Games in 2011. To mark the occasion Girlguiding Isle of Man has created a unique CYG2011 Challenge Pack and Badge. The Challenge is open to all 1,300 local Guiding Members: aged 5 to 85, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Senior Section Members and Trefoil Guild. Sandy Kermode, Island Commissioner, Girlguiding Isle of Man said: “I am very pleased that our Guiding Groups will be participating in CYG2011 in this way allowing our girls and young women to learn about the Commonwealth by participating in so many varied activities.” -ENDS-
