‘The TT Zero races have captured the imagination of major corporations, universities and hi-tech institutions across the globe. Holding the event in conjunction with the races allowed us to highlight the growing success of TT Zero, as well as the Isle of Man’s capabilities in the clean tech sector. The event also offered the perfect platform for the Island to demonstrate to businesses why it is an ideal location to trial technology whilst also offering protection to intellectual property generated by businesses. Currently over 100 businesses are active in the Clean Tech sector in the Isle of Man and significant future growth is expected.’
Minister for Economic Development, Allan Bell MHK, commented:
‘The Government has always been keen to embrace new technologies and innovation. The clean tech industry is a market that is growing rapidly, and we are echoing this with our current expansion into the sector.
