by isleofman.com 27th June 2011
Police are enquiring into the whereabouts of 19 year old Jamie LAMONT - GILROY who has been reported missing from the Port St Mary area. Jamie is known to have boarded the 08:45am Isle of Man to Heysham sailing on Tuesday 21st June 2011 but his movements after disembarking at Heysham Port are unknown. PC247 Mark Langley of the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team says “Jamie’s family, as well as the Police obviously have concerns as to Jamie’s whereabouts and welfare and would appeal to anyone who may have seen or spoken to Jamie, either on the sailing to Heysham or through other means such as Facebook to please contact the Police. I would like to emphasise that Jamie is not in any trouble or subject of any Police enquiries other than to establish his current location and to ensure that he is safe and well. Any information would be gratefully received”. Jamie is described as approximately 5’ 8” tall with collar length mousey, untidy hair which is brushed forward with a spotted complexion. At the time of boarding the boat at Douglas he was wearing a light coloured jacket, Black Jeans and white trainers and was carrying a Black holdall which may have had yellow writing on it. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Langley at Port Erin Police Station on 832222 or Police Headquarters on 631212. ENDS
