Incident In Castletown

About 6. a.m. on Monday 27 June 2011, police responded to a call regarding a disturbance in the Janet’s Corner areas of Castletown Police Officers were quickly on the scene, and two males were arrested. Inspector Derek Flint said: ‘ As with any report of a disturbance, the police response is as quick as possible. Officers were in the area for some time afterwards in order to make the necessary enquiries and would reassure the public that there is no cause for alarm. We will be making further enquiries in the area as the day progresses.’ ‘Should anyone have been in the area around the time, we would be grateful to hear from them at Port Erin Police Station on 832222 or crimestoppers on 0800 555 11’ ENDS
