The Mannannan Lions Club are organising a 24 hour motorbike relay around the TT course. This will start at 5pm on Friday 1st July 2011 at the TT Grandstand and their last lap on the Saturday will culminate with the Joey Dunlop Memorial Ride Out. The general public are asked to come along and show their support for this unusual charity event. People are welcome at the TT Grandstand any time during the 24 hours and, for only a ?10 donation, will receive a cuddly lion to accompany them on their lap of the TT course. Refreshments will be available back at the TT Grandstand afterwards which is included in the donation fee. All monies raised over this period will be used for local causes. The Mannannan Lions Club would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who has helped to get this motorbike relay up and running. We are hoping to be successful in our efforts over Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd July 2011, as well as helping to spread awareness of the club throughout the community. ENDS
