Bikers Raise over ?400 For Age Concern

by isleofman.com 27th June 2011
On Sunday 26th June, in less than perfect weather conditions, over 50 bikers rode a lap of the TT Course to raise funds for Age Concern Isle Of Man. Many had come along in fancy dress and the prize for best outfit, donated by Paul Dedman Performance, was won by Tina Cain of Douglas, for her Carmen Miranda costume, complete with flowers and fruit attached to her crash helmet. The ride out finished at the Creg for a well deserved coffee after riding through the fog on the mountain and over ?400 was raised for Age Concern. Emma Morter and Rich Ashcroft, who organised the event would like to pass on their sincere thanks to everyone who took part and generously donated money to join in. ENDS
