A packed audience at the Workingmen's Institute in Laxey was treated to a night of top class entertainment, as locals and those from outside the Village helped to raise over ?880 for the charity Christian Aid. The organisers would like to thank all those who entertained, the raffle sponsors - Browns Cafe, Katrina Hair and Beauty Salon, Laxey Co-Op, Laxey Chemist, Laxey Woolen Mills, Laxey Laundry, Prescence of Mann and Sonya Clark who made the floral decoration - and not least, all those who supported this worthwhile cause by buying tickets. - Ends -
