Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault that took place in Douglas Street, Peel at around 4 pm on Wednesday 29th June 2011. Police believe that the assault which occurred close to the junction of Michael Street would have been witnessed by a number of members of public. During the incident, a male has been punched a number of times by another male causing him to fall from the pavement into the road. Pc 262 Tom Gascoyne of the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault, and they are urged to contact Peel Police Station on 842208. ENDS
