Archibald Knox Society Prizes at Ballakermeen Art Exhibition

An exhibition of Advanced Level Art and Photography at Ballakermeen High School attracted a large number of visitors, and a panel of judges from the Archibald Knox Society to award prizes. Top prize for Art went to Kim Chung while the Photography award went to George Eastwood. The judges praised the high quality of the work on display, describing it as the best they had ever seen in an Isle of Man school. Visitors to the exhibition included the Deputy Mayor of Douglas Cllr David Ashford and the Deputy Mayoress Mrs Sylvia Ashford. Chairman and Founder of the Archibald Knox Society Liam O’Neil led the panel of judges and provided the cheques and certificates. Further information: Paul Kane 648700 p.kane@bhs.sch.im ENDS
