A very special limited edition box set packed with unique TT memorabilia has been produced by Isle of Man Post Office for the official Centenary of the Mountain Course, in addition two 1911 photographs have been reproduced with special postmarks to commemorate the Junior and Senior TT.
The box set contains reproduction copies of the official 1911 TT programme, 1951 Senior TT official programme and the 1961 TT scorecard booklet along with „A Guide to the TT Mountain Course? by Robert Kelly. In addition there is a booklet about TT legend Geoff Duke?s views of the TT, a Lucas Map of the famous Mountain Course, two 6x4 postcards showing the Junior and Senior winners of the 1911 race plus a bonus item - the TT Mountain Challenge 1911-2011 MCC Centenary programme with a certificate of authenticity signed by Murray Walker OBE.
A re-enactment day is being held on July 3. There will be a special ride-out of 105 riders round the Mountain Course organised by the Vintage Motorcycle Club. The group will be making a stop in Ramsey where in the Town Hall TT fans will be able to buy the box set between 11am-2pm and there will also be a further opportunity at the Grandstand where Isle of Man Stamps & Coins will also have a stall open from 1pm-2.30pm.
