Challenge Zoe Gillings the British No1 Olympic Snowboard Athelete to The HMV Strand Shopping Centre – Tony Hawke PS3 Game Snowboard Challenge Saturday 9th from 10am until 4pm Zoe Gillings, the British No 1 Olympic snowboard athlete from the Isle of Man will be spending the day at the Strand shopping centre on Saturday 9th July ready to race anyone who challenges her on the playstation 3 game ! How nice would it be to say you have beaten an Olympian? There will be gaming consoles set up to challenge Zoe with the days winner for the fastest time taking home a HMV sponsored snowboarding prize. The challenge is free to enter for anyone over 3 years old!!! There will also be face painting to get you looking good for the slopes and free goodies afterwards! Zoe will also be in the centre from 9am until 5pm to showcase her new business venture www.Isleofdeals.com and how its helping fund her Olympic snowboard program. During the day Zoe will also be signing autograph cards and up for grabs are several original pieces of Team GB Vancouver Olympic kit. Manx Radio will also be holding their popular live “Manx Radio Cafe “ programme in The Strand and Zoe will be challenging Alex Brindley to the first race. If you ever wanted to challenge, chat, get an autograph by or have your photo taken with one of Britains top Olympic athletes please come down to the Strand shopping centre on Saturday 9th July. It promises to be a fun and enjoyable day out! Ends
