by isleofman.com 4th July 2011
In its raciest competition yet Age Concern Isle of Man has joined forces with the Corkills Motor Group to offer the chance to win a red Alfa Romeo MiTo 1.4 16v Junior in a prize draw for just ?5 a ticket. The ‘Alfa Adventure’ is being fronted by former car trader turned TV presenter Mike Brewer from Channel 4’s Driven and Deals on Wheels. Mike said: ‘Age Concern’s doing fantastic things for the over-50s in the Isle of Man so I’m delighted to do whatever I can to help.’ Tickets will be available tomorrow at the Tynwald Day festival. Tickets are also available at Age Concern Isle of Man’s Drinkwater Street headquarters and its shops in Ramsey and Port Erin, branches of Spar, Extreme Art and Gadgets, the Manx Legion Club, Tracey Bell’s SuperClinic and Carrefour health club in Douglas, Celtic Gold in Peel, and at community events Island-wide. There will also be opportunities throughout the year to buy tickets from the CHAT Bus at events including the Southern Agricultural Show and the Royal Manx Agricultural Show. The draw will take place at Age Concern’s AGM on December 2 at the Empress Hotel when one lucky winner will become the owner of Alfa Romeo’s super-stylish supermini, the MiTo. (‘MiTo’ stands for ‘Milan’ where the super-cool car was designed and ‘Torino’ - Turin - where it’s built). ENDS
