Well Done Scott!

by isleofman.com 11th July 2011
Peel lifeboat crewman’s Son Scott Horne has been raising money to support Peel lifeboat. Scott 15, Son of Frankie Horne has been undertaking a sponsored swim to support his Father and the rest of the Peel crew. Scott volunteered to swim a mile in February of this year and the final total raised was ?250. Frankie is not only a volunteer Peel crewman, but is also a safety officer for the RNLI travelling throughout the UK to give advice to boat owners. Scott looks sure to follow his Dad into the RNLI as a crewman as soon as he is old enough. A spokesman for Peel lifeboat station said it was good to see young people getting involved in the RNLI and our thanks go to Scott for his excellent effort. Ends
