Request For Information

by isleofman.com 11th July 2011
Port Erin Police are investigating an act of criminal damage which occurred at some time between Thursday 7th and Friday 8th July 2011. Between these dates a log bridge which forms part of the BMX track in Poulsome Park has been set alight and as a result of the fire damage it is no longer fit for purpose. A number of items were located next to the bridge, including some disposable barbecues; it possible that the damage may be accidental and these may be the cause. Police would like to speak to the persons who had the barbecue in the park, and anyone else who was in the area at that time. If anyone has any information whatsoever in relation to this incident, they are urged to contact Police Constable Lee Wright at Port Erin Police Station on 832222, via lee.wright@gov.im, or alternatively give their information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
