Summer eClub Party Sponsored by Vont and Pokernews

by isleofman.com 13th July 2011
The ever-popular eClub will be hosting their third event on Thursday 21 July. The eClub is a social meeting place for anyone involved with eGaming on the Isle of Man. The initiative was started by KPMG and Continent 8 to bring the growing number of people working in this sector together in one place and start building lasting relationships. The forthcoming event is sponsored by Island-based eGaming licensing provider, Vont and online gaming site PokerNews. The party, commencing at 6pm at the Courthouse Club, will feature a blackjack table where guests will get the chance to learn blackjack or just play for fun in a tournament-style setting. The game will not be played with real money however there will be prizes up for grabs. CEO of Vont, Jon Sykes is looking forward to the event: “We are so pleased to be a part of the eClub and are proud to sponsor the forthcoming event. The club provides a fantastic chance for members of the Island’s gaming community to get together. Judging from past events, the summer party is set to be a great success! I’d encourage anyone with an interest to come and join us.” Richard Ebbutt of Continent 8 also commented on the eClub’s success: “We’re developing a community of people with similar jobs and interests. We’re glad it has turned out to be so popular and are grateful to Vont and PokerNews for their support in allowing it to continue. We look forward to another successful event.” For regular updates and to get involved in the eClub, visit www.facebook.com/IsleofManeClub or join the group ‘Isle of Man eClub’ on LinkedIn. -END-
