At approximately 12.40pm on Wednesday 13th July 2011, a two vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on the Snaefell Mountain Road near to the Black Hut at approximately 12.40pm on Wednesday 13th July 2011 The collision involved a black and silver coloured Honda CBR1000F motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was taken to Nobles Hospital. The other vehicle involved was a red coloured Honda Jazz motorcar. The occupants of this vehicle were uninjured. The road was closed for approximately four hours whilst Police conducted enquiries at the scene. Police would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the collision or who may have been travelling through the area at around the time of the collision.
