Sudden Death and Smoke Bound Property

At 2:40 pm on Wednesday 13th of July 2011 patrolling officers from Western Neighbourhood Policing Team were alerted by a resident to smoke issuing from a neighbour’s property in Patrick Village. The officer’s entered the smoke bound property and located a 50 year old man lying on the kitchen floor. The officer’s commenced CPR until relieved by officers from Peel Fire Service. Unfortunately the male was later pronounced dead at the scene and the Coroner has been made aware. There is no police investigation. ENDS
